why can CCE reencode from Xvid

hey i am having trouble reencoding from Xvid.

It seems that it doesnt like the audio from it. Is there a work around for this that anyone would know?

CCE is not recommended for audio encoding.
You better process the audio part separately. Like demuxing it using VirtualDubMod, then converting with BeLight.

Right. Demux the audio from the source, de-select audio processing in CCE, and encode video.

Encode audio separately - into MP2 or AC3, and then mux/author with the M2V/MPV that CCE makes.
