My Nero 7.5.7.0 Enhanced will not launch

Has anyone had this problem? It worked fine last night, in fact I used Nero Digital AVC for a movie. It took 7 hours. Now it will not even load. This is true for all the Nero programs and the smartstart. If I right click on a movie, I can open with nero.

Check the shortcuts for all the Nero programs. Remove the " -ScParameter=8 " from the end of the target line.

What does ScParameter=8 mean?My Nero7 shortcuts(both on desktop/start menu and Start Smart)also stopped working.I made new ones,but Start Smart still doesn't work(not that I need it much..,but if it's there,it should work).Nero7 ir great,once you get everything working right.I start to think it has a secret component called NeroPuzzle(already at version 8 by the way),which guards you from boredom.

I've had the same problem with Nero 7.5.9.0 (7.5.1.1 worked fine). Recode 2 wouldn't launch, and removing the -ScParameter=8 from the shortcut worked like a charm (though it's ridiculous to have to do this, you'll agree ;))
