How do you make AGK see subtitles? I tell AGK to open a set of VOB files & it sees the soundtrack but NEVER EVER reports seeing any subtitles that I know are there. I can confirm this by dropping the same file onto the DIVX converter & it sees & now encodes them correctly (even though they aren't as large & as clear as the original).

I have also noticed that when AGK encodes a file & I use the DIVX codec that it has an avi extension & not a DIVX extension. Both VirtualDub & GSpot confirm that AGK has encoded using the DIVX codec.

I have even had files that the DIVX converted says it can't encode because the file has a VBR. I then use the same codec in AGK & it encodes OK but never sees the subtitles.

Since (as usual) you haven't elaborated on details such as your type of input file, your question will take more questions being answered to be able to help you. I will say that AutoGK won't see subtitles in an .IFO rip of a disk, only a file mode or .ISO mode one. I'll also say that your questions are all very basic ones that can be answered easily if you read the guides and documentation.

As to the extension, it's an .AVI file regardless of the codec used. .DIVX is not a file type, although some converters do use it as an extension which is meant to be associated with the DivX player.

Are you aware that you almost never post follow-up info or reply to extended questions that are only meant to aid in helping you?
