Hello,
I wanted to convert my DV avi files to DVD. I used VirtualDub-mpeg2 to convert to DivX. Then I used TMPGEnc 3.0 XPress to cut and edit. I don't know what I did wrong but I got no picture but the sound is there.
The settings I used for VirtualDub-mpeg2 is Video-Full Compressiion Mode-Compression-Filter-Interlaced-Resized to 640x480 and the Video 6.2.5 DivXcodec (1 Logical CPU). Audio- Full Compresssion-mp3 at 128kBits, 32000Hz Stereo.
Eg. a DV2 avi file size 750MB after processsed with VirtualDub becomes 125MB then I used TMPGEnc to cut-edit and convert to a DVD. The output mpg file is 200MB. There is no picture but the sound is there. Is this the way to go or am I missing the boat totally.
This is wordy but I hope somebody will read it and be able to help.
:thanks:
