I am trying to use msu_smart_sharpen with Gordian Knot but cannot get it to work. I keep getting errors such as smart_sharpen.dll is missing from the avisynth plugin directory.

msu_smart_sharpen is supposed to be compatible with avisynth, at least according to the homepage, it does give a small avisynth script as well, which I tried but still no good.

I did try adding the msu filter to Gordian Knot's to the save and encode filter tab but I am not sure I got it right. That could be where it went wrong.

I have tried everything I can think of to get this to work but nothing has worked.

Doing an encode and then re-encoding it using VirtualDub just to add the filter is a bit of a long winded way of doing it. It would be faster to do it all in one pass.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this, to help me get this working?

Well no replies, surely someone must of used it.

I did not use Auto/Gordian Knot in the End as I was not going to do two encodes in a row, just to use the filter. I just converted to mv2 and used VirtualDub-Mpeg2 to encode and filter all in one go.

It would of been nice to use Gordian Knot though, or at least AviSynth as that is supposed to be faster as it does not require full processing mode.
