Pullup in ffmpeg? Help please

Hello everybody!

I am having this problem: I have to encode some videos, and those encodes need to be done with some ivtc filter. For reasons beyond my control I must use ffmpeg for the encoding, and not mencoder or anything else.

I noticed that ffmpeg has some -vhook option, so I am wondering if I can use that to hook up the pullup filter from mencoder?

My question is: Is this even possible? And if yes, what do I need to do?
