Stuttering with encoding?

Why is it the encoder skips frames if the CPU is being using for other things??

should it affect encoding whether you have other things running the background?

background apps have 0 effect on encoding in cce. if it did, i would have some encodes with only a frame or 2. ;) . what is making you think the encoder is dropping frames?

a live capture might drop frames, but a standard cce encode will drop none.
