Hi,

I'm looking for a soft , which can accurately cut a DivX movie, so can set/make a keyframe in place of movie I want. I've captured video (clips) from TV straight to DiVX and now I can't cut it as I want - the keyframes don't allow it :(. Is there existing such soft there?
Thanks.

There is no way I know of to set keyframes after encoding to divx. So if you already have the file in divx I think ...bad luck.
The only way to cut frame accurate would be to capture uncompressed or in huffyuv, where every frame is a keyframe so you can cut where you want and then encode your already cut files. That requires a lot more HD space of course.

Rencode a segment between two keyframes that includes the point that you want to cut,and set keyframe distance to something like 1 or 0.5 sec. There's no other way that i know of.

You can reencode from the frame you want to be the first frame until the next keyframe. Decreases quality a little for the small segment, but works.
