Hi to all,

It's been a while.... :(

I will get to the point directly.

For DL backup copies of commercial DVD-9, i always used DvdDecrypter in iso Read and then iso write. The result was a perfect copy of the DVD (which was playable in every player) including layer breaks etc.

Now, i purchased (bought) DAVINCI CODE R2 which has Sony protection and DvdDecrypter cannot handle. I know DVDFAB can..... but my question is how can i perform the same or similar task as i used to (for 1:1 DL copy) and to make a perfect/compatible copy.

Is there a similar program or process to follow in order to complete my "project" ? THANK YOU !!!!!

May I suggest RipItForMe -- a link to it is on the news page when you first navigate to the doom forums. It takes care of arccos / protected disks very well.

As MuttLover suggested, RipIt4Me can handle the advanced copy protections and will produce files or an .ISO that you can burn. ImgBurn v2.0 can import the files from a file mode backup.

You are both right. I searched for RipIt4Me and found a guide for DL rip/burn including ofcourse DVDDECRYPTER, IMGBURN and FIXVTS.

As always you are very helpful.

Thank you !!!
