Yes, I've read the 'Capture Guide', but I did not quite understand most of it.
My sources are NTSC VHS Tapes. My final target is DVD.
I should be capturing using HUFFYUV and then processing the videos using avisynth filters.
I have two options as capture device:
1- Pinnacle PCTV (bt8x8)
2- ATI X1900XTX card
I would like to have a video with no black borders and with close to perfect aspect ratio.
As I understand, I should be capturing at 712x480 when using bt8x8, but my video end up with the wrong aspect ratio.
So, is 712x480 the correct frame size?
How can I crop the botton garbage and black borders and then resize the video to the proper frame size?
