Hello,
i have a Problem with strip my streams.
When i choose Vob-Extras,
I uncheck the first option and the other I don`t change.
I select a destination and start.
I got a new Window with prozessing Source Vob TSxx
Reading Source....
Writing Destination....
Just in the Moment, the copyprozess is finished, the Ifoedit-Applikation ist just shootdown, without any warning..and error.
In the destination, my Vob-Files are ok, but i have no *.ifo with the
new Information.
Somebody can help ??
I hope you understand my Englisch

I found this to be a problem when ifoedit is looking for a .VOB file that doesn't exist.

It did this to me until I ripped all the files to my hard drive, not just the main movie.

I don't know exact, whitch file was missing.
But I ripped the complete DVD on Harddisk and then
Ifoedit works without Problem - Great.

had same problem. then i figured out that i missed the video_ts.ifo. had only the vts_xx_x.vob's and vts_xx_x.ifo, but no video_ts.ifo.
smartripper did only copy the vts_xx.x.ifo with the vobs in movie option but not the video_ts.ifo. so ifoedit quit after writing the vobs and didn't create the new ifos.
just copy the ideo_ts.ifo from the dvd into your rip directory to the other vts_xx_x.ifo and vobs.

kaba,
you need to save the newly created ifo files to a different directory than the directory that you opened the original ifo file from.
just a guess....
