Ok, I've messed with this for some time now, over the course of several months, but I thought I'd pass it by you good people.
I have a subtitle menu, and I want it to pre-select the button that corresponds to the active subtitle stream. I should be able to select "Subtitle Stream" under the advanced tab, and this will happen automatically. In fact, this works fine on my audio track menu using the "Audio Stream" button pre-selection. However, it doesn't work. Button 1 is always selected when you got to the menu, no matter what subtitle track is active.
I am linking to the menu without specifying a button, using "(no button)". What am I missing? Is this feature of Maestro just broken?
Thanks--
Jeremy
P.S. Before you suggest it, I did create a command sequence that stores the active subtitle to a general register, and then checks that for the appropriate button. That method works, but I am authoring a project with *no* spare registers. I have even split most registers into 8-bit registers, and believe me, I can't spare any.
