Is there any chance to speedup the compression process by disabling some function which just have a low influence to the quality?

You're out of luck since all the options available in nero will have little influence on the speed ... :)
The only thing I can think of is the big slidebar that says "Decision Quality" on it. Setting it to Good or Best instead of Extra is the only way you'll speed up the encoding without hurting the quality too much. Disabling CABAC will hurt the quality enormously, and sames goes for bidirectionnal prediction (a.k.a b-frames). Setting the maximum vector range the smallest possible is the only sane useful value anyway, so don't even try anything else (except if you really have extra-high motion ...).

Mainconcept encoder doesn't hurt noticebly quality with all speed-up options enable like Fast RDO, Fast Intra, Fast inter etc. Even a lot of hard samples like blue sky look excelent.

Which version of the Mainconcept encoder is this? Is this the $499 version?
