I have always used 1 Click Dvd Copy and my current vers is 4.2.9.2 and Any Dvd 6.0.8.2 and had no problems.
There is a newer version of 1 Click out vers 5 but I did not update as I had no problems with my existing version and if it ain't broke my philosophy has always been "don't fix".!
I use a BenQ 162I external burner with their Tech Support recommended media R+ Sony, TDK, Maxell, Imation and have had no issues with media since I started burning in Dec 2005.
Now last night when I try to burn a backup of a purchased new release for the kids Halloween party as I don't want 10 little hands on the original, I only circulate the case to be read and encourage that so that I start to teach respect of the media with the packaging first before the actual disc where I can be with the child.
The burner reads the DVD as well as another I tried out as an experiment; however when I go to burn to any one of the above brands which I always have used the 1 Click program keeps asking for me to insert a (re) writeable disc and all of my usual R+ discs get rejected.
Could this be b/c I don't have the updated version of 1 Click installed which is vers 5 installed??
Or b/c I have inadvertently changed something??
Or any other ideas??
If I have to install the new version, do I install it over top of the current version of 1 Click Dvd Copy or do I have to uninstall the present version and do a brand new Install???
I don't understand what is going on as I have never had the 1 Click program only burn on RW+.
I was able to burn the party disc plus another that I purchased and used as Source DVD's on 2 different brands of RW+ media, however neither would play on our Toshiba player, Sony or our neighbours Panasonic player. But of course not on our R+ media as described earlier that I usually use without problem.
And these R+ backups were always playable on the above described standalone players.
Please can anyone help as I don't want to have the original in little hands at the party.
