Its been a while since I have been to Doom 9. I wanted to ask if there are new developments regarding Arcoss / Macrovision (RipGuard)

Nope, not since your August 28 posting - RipIt4Me continues to be updated on a very current basis (as do both DVDFab Decrypter and DVD95Copy)...
