Hi there,

when encoding a movie the gknot window is always open because of the queue. Now that i am no friend of a always filled taskbar i wondered if it might be possible to close GKnot rather to the system tray than to the taskbar. that would save alot of space ;)

One other thing, when you do a Compressibility Check, the "Compressibility Check"-job doesn't get removed from the GKnot queue.

Both quite cosmetic features, but we all want it to be perfect ;)

Here's another request for you WEF... ;)

Make is so that jobs can be saved and later imported back into GKnot! Please! ;) I just lost a good eight hours due to me having to re-do a movie because GKnot crashed while I was previewing a movie. (In fact, I think it's a bug, I can re-create it.)

(Hit 'Open' on the DVD2AVI portion, select your desired .AVS and then click on the slider once. Now just hold your right arrow button so that the movie starts playing, frame by frame. Do this for about a minute or so, GKnot will flat out crash and all your queued jobs will of course vanish. :()

i know that many people want that. but it's lots of boring work to implement it. maybe...
it's easy to recreate a job-queue, because all the data is stored in the save-slots.

i know of this problem but still have no idea how to get rid of it. that's why i added a 'play' - and arrow buttons...

Ahh, alright. I'll just be more careful from now on. ;)

While you're here though, I just wanted to say thanks. It's a great program and really is great for a newblood like me to use. (I've just recently got into making my own rips, and thus far it's been nothing but a blessing.)
