If I select one angle from a DVD that contains more than one, the resulting avi contains all angles (each playing one after the other). Is this a known issue or limitation?

Can you phrase your question in a more specific manner? For example, are you using AutoGK directly off the disk, or an external program to rip the disk first with something like DVD Decrypter? Assuming it's the former, the solution would be to rip it with DVD Decrypter in .IFO mode.

The DVD has already been ripped to disk.

ReRip, using IFO mode.

With what program, and in what manner? As jgimmi and I both suggested, the main angle is automatically separated when you rip using DVD Decrypter in .IFO mode.

I did not rip it the first time so I am not sure, but I will try to do it again.

Your input is contradictory and confusing. As I asked above and in other threads of yours, can you provide detailed and specific information as to your procedure for getting from a store-bought DVD to a video file on your computer? Without it it's going to be impossible to help with your problems.

I managed to solve the problem by ripping with Nero Recode and removing all subs except the one I wanted and then running AutoGK.
