I have gone through with all the oversize undersize settings in the sticky & still faced oversize issue :(

I am putting the xvid settings here, if something is wrong plz correct me :)

1st pass

For the 2nd pass run, you have set fixed quantizer in zone settings. That's an ultimate "must-not". For the 2nd pass, you have to use a zone setting of "weight=1.0".

Change this to W=1.00 or you will always encode at constant quantizer=2.

Edit: Ah; too slow...

You also need to set the Profile @ Level to "(unrestricted)".

The stats say q2 for every single frame (b-frames are 4, of course). Did you set the matrix back to H.263, or hit defaults, or something? Because with your quantizer restrictions that should not be possible. Loading your settings into mine shows them as they should be, so I don't know. You do seem to be using an older xvid than me though, since the profile didn't import properly.

Wait, I get it, you didn't rerun the first pass. Okay, now the stats make sense. Maybe q3 min is too small?

keep quantizer caps at 2-31 ... and voila... no more oversizing :p

You also need to set the Profile @ Level to "(unrestricted)".
^^ That did the trick :)
