View Full Version : Divx 6 not recognised by a lot of apps

Anybody else find this annoying? Like I wanted to edit some Divx 6 video in windows movie maker, but Divx 6 is not recognised. Or I want to split some video in half but my video splitter app does not recognise divx 6. It reconises most MPEG4 and anything from Divx 5 and below but not 6.

Is there a way around this?

VirtualDubMod will still work for cutting DivX v6 - except if there are subtitles... we still need a complete demuxer for DivX6 that can demux all the features like subtitles and menus.
