View Full Version : Video/audio length screw-ups (bug?)

"Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" has an interesting scheme whereby the main film and several extras are mooshed together into one big "chapter", and while AutoGK (I've used both the most recent beta and the last stable, and tried them on both the "cut" and the "uncut" versions of BB:RJ) is able to correctly discern proper length for the audio channels (1:16), it didn't for the video (1:55) -- which leaves me with a 700mb movie which is actually only two-thirds movie and one-third extras running under dead-silence. AutoGK correctly reported "Video info: MPEG2 720x480 NTSC 4:3 PGC 1. Length: 1:16:38:04" -- but went ahead and pasted all the extra crap on anyway, and one doesn't find out about it until he watches the finished product.

With Magic DVD Ripper I am able to tear out correct-length video plus one (but not more than one) audio channel into MPEG2 format, and then let AutoGK crunch that -- but this leaves me without one of the audio tracks, and AutoGK's dialog doesn't support loading external audio (even though the ripped audio tracks are available in the agk_tmp folder from the failed experiment described above)

How do I deal with this?

Rip using DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, then load that rip into AutoGK.
