The aspect ratio of my DVD movie is 2.50 which means it is widescreen on my TV is there any way with autoGK i can alter these settings to make it 4:3

You can try to override input AR in the hidden options (Ctrl/F9), choices are original, 16:9 and 4:3 . The more different from the original, the more distorted it can/will be ...

I suppose the result can be viewed in preview.
