I'm a newbie to xvid. I've download xvid 1.10 source code,
and found that it doesn't seem to support data partition or RVLC. I think xvid is the best mpeg4 encoder. It's a pity for me for not supporting DP or RVLC.
Would anyone let me know if other mpeg4 encoder support DP & RVLC?
Thanks

It's not a pity, data partitionning and RVLC are useless for people that are using XviD ( it doesn't improve coding efficiency )

I know that Ateme's mpeg4 encoder supports them, and most probably there are some other professionnal codecs that do too ( though there aren't that many mpeg4 encoder )

The big question is, why do you need them ?

I want to broadcast video over wireless network. In an error-prone environment, DP & RVLC should be better nothing.
I know FFMPEG support DP & RVLC decoding. So I need to choose an encoder that support DP & RVLC. Is any other GPL mpeg4 encoder support DP & RVLC? thanks
