I'm trying to create a video menu for a dvd. I want to be able to load the menu into scenarist. I tried to load the uncompressed avi that is produced from premiere into cce but I keep getting an error. Is there any way to encode to mpeg from premiere. I have did a search on the subject and I thought you could but I can't seem to figure it out. What codec should I use and how do I load it?
Thanks for any help.

I think adobe didn't add an mpeg-2 encoder until Premiere Pro.
What codec are you using to export out of Premiere? Make sure to use a good lossless or uncompressed one, to make sure the problem isn't the codec you are using.

I finally found a codec in premiere that cce liked. I can't remember the name right off hand. What codec do you suggest and exaclty how do I install it so that Premiere can use it? Thanks for the reply.

For premiere 6 I like to use either the Huffyuv or Lagarith codecs. Both should work quite well. Lagarith might be safest to go with, as there are lots of various versions of huffyuv flying around out there with varying levels of stability.

Just unzip, right-click the .inf file, and choose install.
