Well everything works fine using DVD2SVCD to change a DVD to an mpeg file. But where are the subtitels?

In DVD2SVCD I used the Tab Subtitels and put a dot in SVCD Subtitels. I thought that the subtitels would have been moved to the new mpeg file. But No!!

My question is what do I have to do to get subtitels in my new create mpeg file.

Thanks for any possible help. You never disapointed me.
Greetings Jan Vroegop

Well everything works fine if you put the dot in permanent. I would like to hear from someone why I have to put the dot there. But anyway this is the solution!! Kindly Greetings

If you choose SVCD subtitles, the subtitles are selectable - ie when you put the finished SVCD in your DVD player you can turn the subtitles on and off from your remote handset. However, before you author the SVCD, you cannot see them in the mpeg stream.

If you choose permanent subtitles, the subtitles are added during video encoding and so form part of the image. They therefore show up when you play the mpeg file, but cannot be switched off.
