HI,
I used DVDFab 3.0 to rip Click and it completed fine. DVD Shrink wouldn't work with the copied file (same errors as posted in another thread). I then used the previous version of DVDfab (old reliable). It has been running for 8hrs + , no error messages, but seems to be extreemely slow /stuck on "Copying DVD files VTS_01_1".
DVDfab never take anywhere near this long. Any ideas?
Thanks

Read this post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=117046). It seems DVD Fab can sometimes corrupt the VTS by setting all the NAVPACKS to VOBID:1/CELLID:1. Not sure what in the source material may trigger it or whether it's related to what you're experiencing, though. You may want to open up your output VOB file(s) with VOBEDIT and see if the problem holds true for yours.

I am also having problems with Click. I have used RipIt4Me which freezes when Dvd Decrypter tries to rip it. I have tried the PgcEdit plugin for Dvd Decrypter and it freezes also. I have tried with Dvd Decrypter with AnyDVD running and it freezes. I have also tried to use just AnyDVD. It also freezes. I have tried all of the combinations above while trying to rip the DVD to files or an ISO. No Luck.. I have upgraded to RipIt4Me 1.5.1.0. Are there any particular settings (in any of the appz mentioned) that can help me rip this thing? I have ripped DVDs before the problems and after the problems. They have all worked fine.

Just as an FYI, it ripped ok with AnyDVD.

I also tried ripping it with rip it for me. Under dvd info it says
"Size of original DVD: 7987mb -"
That can't be right.
When its done and opens dvd shrink it's a very small file. Not the the movie.

jdobbs,
Does it matter which version? I am running v6.0.3.1 on both PCs. Niether one worked for me.

I used RipIt4Me and it worked fine after the second attempt. The first time I came up with the same error about a scratched disk and missing 36 seconds. I used a different drive and it went through just fine with DVDDecrypter. I also just got the newest version of AnyDVD 6.0.8.0 and it worked perfectly with DVDShrink.
AnyDVD is my preference as it's much faster than using RipIt4Me with Decrypter and FixVTS.

I used AnyDVD v6.0.8.0. I haven't tried any other versions with that disc.

I ripped it fine w/dvd fabdecryptor. The only thing is, is that my computer doesn't read it as a anything, but it plays in my dvd player fine.

Always keep AnyDVD up to date. When new protections are found it is usually updated within the day. v6.0.8.0 added support for a whole lot of new copy-protections.

When using fixvts do you click open then do each individual .vob file?

Open a vob file and then press the button "Full DVD" and all vobs are done.

When RipIt4Me seems to hang, it is just working thru bad sectors. Give it time.

I used DVDFab on my burn but now my DVD Drive will not recognize blank DVD-R's. I ran PCDocter and found that Production DVD's are fine but Backed-up DVD produce Error Codes "DV523-1, DV523-2 and DV523-3". I ran System Restore and didn't work, PC Recovery, didn't resolve issue. I've read posts that suggest IDE Cable malfunctions but it's not that.... I am LOST and way beyond my abilities... HELP! please?

Sounds like your drive needs cleaning. Ensure its firmware is up to date, too.
