Hi Lennox-

thanks again for the great tool... it's been invaluable to me.

quick question - i did a search and can't find anything on this. I'm unable to get DivX 6.4 to work, I'm on a new Core duo laptop, WinXP. Installed DivX first, then AutoGK, twice... no go.

When I ran it it got most of way thru process then died with "source format is incompatible" error. sorry but i don't have the autogk log it got deleted.

then installed DivX 6.2.5 and then AutoGK, now it works fine.

Just thought i'd let you know in case it's not a known issue.

All the best,
Charlie

ps here's settings from another autogk log in case it helps at all

Just use Xvid instead. If you're going to insist on using Divx, you may as well use Dr. Divx. Which is now free anyway.

This one got me interested. Apparently DivX 6.4 trial codec does not have all the features of Pro codec available (like unconstrained profile that AutoGK uses by default if you haven't enabled standalone compatibility) until you register it. That's why its crashes.

So is DivX Pro 6.4 compatible with Auto GK? Great!!! I thought it was only compatible with 6.1.x or 6.2.x. :)

It is compatible with any future versions of divx6 (hopefully) but it will always use pro features of it which are no longer available in 6.4 community edition.
