Hi
Im having trouble with certain vob-files. It seems as so SubRip wants to think a lot of the words are just one word and puts them together.

I make Swedish, Danish, Norweigan and Finnish subs.

I also have trouble with SubRip mistaking I for l, i, ! and so on.

Does anyone know a good way to prevent this? Reading and correcting the subs takes forever.

Thanks.

For linked words change the "space width setup" OCR setting.
For mistaken characters, set the OCR sensitivity higher, and look throug your char matrix for wrong characters.

Isnt VobSub just software for displaying subs?

Isnt VobSub just software for displaying subs?
No. That is DirectVobSub, which is a dshow filter for displaying subs. VSFilter a.k.a. VobSub is again a dshow filter, but this will allow you to rip subtitles from the VOB files, hence the name. This is all part of Gabest's VobSub package.

Using VobSub is not the apt answer for your original question though. ai4spam has already given you the correct answer.
