I'm having a problem with ripping DVDs from DVDs that I've already burnt from ripped ISO's.

1. Rip from original DVD to ISO file with DVD Shrink.
2. Burn with Nero to DVD.
----THEN (at a later date)----
1. Insert burnt DVD
2. Full disc rip in DVD Shrink to ISO. "Cyclic redundancy check."
2. Full disc rip with DVD Decrypter. another error

Why isn't this working? It's already decrypted, why am I running into errors. What am I missing?

Thanks

Your media is probably damaged, scratched or dirty. Or the reader is no good.

If all else fails, get your original out and do it again.

any other ideas?

media looks like it's almost perfect and not dirty. the reader is good as I've used it repeatedly for all my other backups. the original isn't an option. I just tried ripping with MacTheRipper on my Mac Pro and it errored at about the same place.

Why isn't the original an option?

Buy a new one and read rule 6.
