MPC crashes on exit while playing TSReader stream

I am using the latest version of MPC with nvidia purevideo mpeg2 decoder to play streams from TSReader. When ever I exit the player it crashes leaving both the video and audio codecs still in use forcing me to do a process termination. I have tried several DS decoders (both video and audio) but it didn't help. This happens on several machines. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening.
