Assume I have an AVI with an AC3 audio track.
I want to re-encode this AVI to a smaller size and to re-encode the audio part to MP3 CBR.

Which bitrate is now taken for the MP3 audio ?

Assume I want to lower it from the very high level of AC3 to 128 kbit/s MP3. Is there a way to force AutoGK to use this "lower" level? Or does AGK only convert it to the MP3 equivalent ?

What if I specify MP3 VBR?
Is there a "quality reduction permission flag" for AutoGK ?

Under Advanced Options you can specify the audio output type.

Choose auto (see AutoGK FAQ 2.3), original, vbr or cbr.
You can even select the bitrate you wish.

Or did I completely miss your point?
