Renaming can be done via disk management in 2000/XP, when you right click on my computer and click manage. Reallocating drives without reformatting requires special software though (like acronis disk director). You also can't remap C, or whatever drive has windows on it; once it's on there it's permanent.

I used Easeus Partition manager, from freedowncenter ,a demo one, It's very ease to use, the Acronis Disk Director is a little expensive.AndI think the EASEUS Partition Manager Is enough for Me to do the things.I hide One of My parition. No one can see the files except me.

I see that Easeus Partition manager is shareware.

You may want to try 'Partition Logic' (http://partitionlogic.org.uk/)which is freeware.

This link HERE (http://www.econsultant.com/i-want-open-source-software/index.html) is to the site from which I got Partition manager. It has many, many, freeware and open source applications instead of shareware applications.

P.S. This thread should probably be in the 'PC Hard and Software' section.
