BTW, it turns out YouTube has only 67 employees. Hmm. Let's see... $1.65 billion divided by 67... That's about $25 million each. Nicely done. :)

Oh, and when they get sued for copyright infringement (which is sort of inevitable if they continue this way), they'll have Google to foot the bill. Well done indeed. ;)

OK, now I actually have time to give my $0.02, here it is.

Could be a good thing for video, means more inter-sharing with Google Video possibly, but I wonder if this is a bad thing in the long run. Yes, YouTube has more content than Google Video, but it was always more popular than Google Video, and that's what kept it so much further forward than GV. Lets just hope that the video quality stays good...
