It is not impossible.
it support DivxHD (720/1080P), WMVHD (720/1080p), MPEG-2(720/1080p + 1080I) and not h.264.
But Why only h.264 ?

I looked on the Net.
My results: Sonic repurchased Roxio, and aparently it support Blu-ray.

Hi!

If you mean Easy Media Creator 8 it doesn't support h264, but the new version 9 does.

Video: AVI, DV-AVI, HD-V, MPEG-1/2/4, MPEG2-HD, DivX, DivX HD, WMV, WMV HD, H.264, MP4, 3GP

Yes and most probably behind that is ffmpeg with X264 ;) seeing that their labs use it for almost every application :P
