View Full Version : Out of sync

Hello guys, I'm new to the forum. :)

I've got a little problem with my subtitles. I had a 23.976FPS avi file and I converted it to .mpv (and .mpa) using CCE on 25FPS for PAL DVDs. The problem is that my .srt file is out of sync with the new mpv file and I can't find a way to fix the bad sync problems. I tried opening the sub in SubtitleWorkshop with InputFPS: 23.976 and FPS: 25 and then save it but it isn't synchronized that way either.

Any help would be grateful. :)

Sorry, I don't get what you mean.

Anyway, I've found the problem but I still can't fix it.
After converting the .avi file to .mpv media player says that its length is 13 minutes instead of 39 and it has the same problem with dvd-lab pro. After understanding that that was the problem I checked my .srt file for the text that it should write on 13:00 and then moved my video to 13:00 and saw that it was showing that part of the subtitle. So it has to do with the length of the video.

PS: I've got other short movie files that aren't converted or anything (15 secs long) and all the players say it's only 1 second but they play the whole clip. Codecs used: K-Lite Mega Codec Pack (including the update and MPEG-1 codec).
