DivX 6.4 Decoder Still No DeInterlacing!

DivX 6.4's decoder STILL cannot decode Interlaced DivX files!

I still get nasty 29.97fps "combing" instead of silky smooth 59.94fps smooth video. Why?????

I guess I will still have to use WMV Encoder for Interlaced Videos.

A Shame...

P.S. Even DV files get nicely deinterlaced when played in the Windows Media Player. But not DivX files! :mad:

I really love DivX, but for interlaced stuff I have to resort to the WMV Encoder which takes AGES to encode.

Here's hoping for sooner rather than later...

in the meantime you can always run the file through ffdshow's raw video processor which has various deinterlacing options.
