Hi,
I'm using WMP11 Beta 2 to play some .OGM files and most of them work fine but one of them doesn't allow me to seek. I can seek within the file with other media players, but I'm a really fussy person and I need to use WMP... Can anyone help me out with a solution to fix this?

Okay...I'm willing to use the mplayer 2 version of Media Player if someone could tell me how to get it to maximize automatically when a video is opened.

try mpc - it's much better than wmp or the outdated mplayer2. Wich decoder did you install? maybe try ffdshow + haali splitter. Then there shoulnd't be seeking problems anymore...

I think it's more a problem with the player... This is so annoying...

Hi!most of them work fine but one of them doesn't allow me to seek. What did you do differently in creating that .OGM file versus the other ones you created?

Truncated OGMs, like truncated AVIs and ASF/WMVs, will do that.

Sorry, I should have said that I didn't make them.
