View Full Version : 3 b-frames in 1st pass analyzation doesn't work?

i'm using 3 b-frames in 1st pass, but the analyzation result shown in xvid status windows tell me it's actually employeeing only 2 b-frames.
anything i get wrong?

B-frames are adaptive...

do you mean the xvid core decide it's not worth to go to the max through the whole clip?(eventually it use average less than 2...)

You could increase BVOP sensitivity. Should eventually use 3 if that is what you really want.

i know this tweak but i prefer to leave 0 and let xvid decide for me
i will limit max to 2 next time cause xvid tell me it's not necessary:D
