I'm looking for a way to demux a QuickTime movie ( .mov ) with a DV video track and mux it into a .dv or .dif file ( without transcoding it ... ). My goal is to wrap the DV essence into an MXF file, but the application I'm using only imports .dv or .dif files ( not mov file format ... ).
Would someone know a possible workflow ?

QuickTime Pro can do this for sure, but I'm not sure about any other programs...

Maybe ffmpeg can demux it, I'm really not sure.

There's a serious dearth of MOV handling tools (muxers and demuxer).

Check out MpegStreamClip - there's a PC and a Mac version. Don't know for sure if it'll work, but try it out. I'm guessing it transcodes, however.
