View Full Version : Shrink Called Up Old Version of ImgBrn!

Holy Oldversoli! I ran a backup on Shrink and when it automatically opened ImgBrn it opened version 1.2.

I don't even know how it found that. I downloaded ver 2.1 last week and have used it in conjunction with DVD RB several times.

So I downloaded version 2.1 again and overwrote it and ran Shrink again and it called up ver 1.2 again. It started writing right away this time, so I just let it run.

You got it pointing to that version on your PC somewhere. I bet you renamed DVD Decrypter to DVD DecrypterReal.exe and ImgBurn (1.2) to DVD Decrypter.exe.

Then from DVD Shrink, when you click Backup - Select Backup Target - ISO Image and Burn with DVD Decrypter, it will call up the exe that is associated with DVD Decrypter (ie ImgBurn 1.2).

This was an old (and rather clumsy) method of calling ImgBurn from DVD Shrink.

For a better one, see here (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=63869).

Hi blutach,
Yes, I had done the DVDD/ImgBrn rename proceedure as you suspected.

Thanks for the link to cynthia's Shrink ImgBrn update thread. I installed it and am getting the option to burn with ImgBrn now.
