Okay, I'm new to this...so here you go...I try to decrypt a DVD to a certain location, and it beings, then goes no where. Here is what I get about a minute into it.

Hi!
Looks like you're trying to rip a physically damaged DVD...
What's the Title and Region of the DVD?

Okay. First off, I don't mean to come off as a jackass or anything...but who ever tries to rip a physically damaged disc is a moron. Second, it's brand new, not even watched. Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. And it's region 1. I believe. And I know it's not my burner, it's brand new, not even 4 months old. Only burned like 4 DVDs with it, so I know it works...or did up until it started doing this.

I would assume some sort of copy protection mechanism is involved in that DVD...ARccOS probably?
I've seen a lot of experienced people around here suggest to try RipIt4Me on such discs.

To have DVD Decrypter successfully rip this disc, you should use RipIt4Me.
Same movie from my Decrypter log:
W 17:10:26 75 areas have been marked as 'suspect'.
W 17:10:26 Dummy sectors will be inserted where necessary.

Okay, sorry for double posting; but uh, I used to just rip it with DVD Decrypter into a stored file in My Documents (..My Documents\Ripped DVDs\DVD NAME). Then I used Nero Burner to burn it to a DVD. Well, now using this RipIt4Me and FixVTS tools it gives new folders in where I save the files (...My Documents\Ripped DVDs\DVD NAME\Orignial IFOs and RipIt4Me.psl). Now when I burn the DVD should it to the whole folder, or to a selected folder inside of the DVD folder?
PS; When I was looking at the options for RipIt4Me, it says something about jumping straight to the menu, now does that mean it doesn't include the ads **** ?
[Edit: Another thing, it used to only take 10-15 mins to rip a DVD using DVD Decrypter...now it's taken almost an hour and four mins to rip Tokyo Drift using RipIt4Me, DVD Decryper, and FixVTS...why? Before it started ripping RipIt4Me said it was a dual layer, is that why?]

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is a Universal Studios DVD and probably contains RipGuard protection. It definitely takes longer to process the disk when using RipIt4Me than with DVD Decrypter alone.

Okay, that answer a small portion of my questions. Anyone else tackle these questions?
[Edit: One last question has surfaced. In RipIt4Me there is 4 different DVD modes. Full DVD, Movie and Menu, Movie Only, and ISO. Is this right then, Full DVD = The whole thing, Bonus features, etc. Movie and Menu = The movie, and the selection menu. Movie Only = Just the movie, no menus, just goes straight to the first scene in the first chapter. ISO = the ISO files?]

Okay Jel. I didn't mean it in a bad way, just as like, a reference you know? Anyways, can anyone else answer my burning question a few posts up?

You're going to have to use DVD Shrink to burn, or use a double-layer DVD-R. If you use Shrink, it will create a new folder with just the DVD files in it or it will create an ISO ready to burn.
But to answer your first question: no, when you burn you only include the DVD files: *.IFO, *.BUP and *.VOB
I think ripit4me has an option to remove all the logs and unneeded files at the end of the rip. Look in the preferences. This will leave you with a ready-to-burn folder (on a DL disc, that is!).
