Hi guys,

I've 30 minutes of a DV video.
I will edit it with some fading and transictions by moviemaker.
After I will give it to my avisynth script and after I'll give the avs script to CCE to get an mpeg2 compliant video with DVD standard.

Ok; if i should stop here, i would have not any problem.
BUT there is a but.

This is a documentary in a stranger language, so I have to subtitle it so that i can show it to my friend.
Could you suggest me a standard and efficient procedure to realize it? (i know that i will have to spend many time!)

TIA

ciao!

i don't know if it is clear, but the documentary has not any kind of subtitles, so I have not any starting subtitles files with timing, sycrnonization etc...

U can create subtitles for a video with "Subtitle Workshop" (is a multifeature tool for subtitles). It allows u to load any video that can be played through DirectShow and it very easy to use.
Cheers.
