Rip ONLY chapter information

How can i rip ONLY the chapter information, without decypting the dvd. Of course the decrypting will take only ~15 mins, but i think there has to be some other way which i can make a chapter information file (.ogg or something).

Can someone plz help?

You can also view chapter info and extract celltimes in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html).

Load the DVD in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html). Double click on the PGC containing the movie. No need to rip first as the IFOs are unencrypted. Do it straight from the DVD drive.

It worked to get the txt file, but i cant mux it. I tried YAMB & MeGUI. Muxing just gives me a MP4 file without chapters. I noticed the chapter information file is not in OGG format...

In Chapter-X-tractor you can use the OGG preset (Format tab) to save the chapter information in the right format.
Then Yamb manages to mux the chapters into the mp4 container. They will show up.
Works for me. ;-)
