My new DVD Curious George will not rip with the latest DVDFab Decrypter. I used an older version and it seemed to rip OK but when I ran it with DVDShrink, it got caught in an encoding loop. Also, the ripped files won't play off the harddrive and it appears like the quality degraded. It gets to the menu but when you hit play, it plays logos and takes you to the bonus features menu.

Looks like you need RipIt4Me to come to your rescue! :helpful:

RipIt4Me did not work either unless there was a really new update that just came out. I used the latest one with all the latest plug-ins.

When you say that RipIt4Me didn't work either, how'd that ripper behave? Did DVD Decrypter come up with any error messages, or post problems in its log file? If it appeared to rip successfully, how'd the ripped files behave -- the same as DVDFab Decypter's output or messed up in a different way?
Also, what region of disk is it? Different regions sometimes use different copy protection schemes.

I've been having a few issues with the latest DVDFab Decrypter too.
It seems that it is trying to automatically remove those annoying warning messages you get at the beginning of the DVD.
I found that when I tried to blank some menus and the opening logo using VOBBlanker, a couple of extras got cut short.
If I just used what DVDFab Decrypter gave me and used DVDShrink, then the back-up played fine in the standalone, but it would completely freeze up at the beginning when played on the computer using media player classic.

Hi!
Just as a point of information, a couple of my grandkids thoroughly enjoyed watching the perfect R1 version of "Curious George that I ripped with "RipIt4Me" v.1.4.14 (Including "FixVTS" v.1.5)...

I tried 3.0.1.2 with The Notorious Bettie Page and there where problems with play back. I used the old version and it works just fine.
