View Full Version : Maximum PAL res with NVidia WDM Driver ?

Hi !

Iīm currently using an Asus V6600 Deluxe with the old 6.53 drivers from Asus. Now Iīve seen a cheap GF2 Ti from MSI with VIO and itīs much cheaper (at least here in germany) than any Asus 7700 Deluxe.

Iīve tried the latest WDM driver from NVidia and the highest res I could choose was 720x480 but thatīs NTSC and not PAL.

So my two questions:
1) Has anyone here experiences with the MSI VIO GF2 ? (Cap resolutions, used OS, used codecs, etc)

2) Is 352x288 currently really the maximum PAL res I can choose with the NVidia WDM cap driver ?

Thanx in advance,
D$

Hi !

Thanx for answering. I just donīt understand the reason for that.
My Asus also has a Philips Chip so it should show all possible res. Shouldnīt it ?
I just want to avoid buying a graphics adapter with useless VIO again (as with my Voodoo 3500TV before).

Hiya.

I have a Gainward GeForce MX400 VIVO GS and I can capture at 720x576 (PAL), although I my HD is too slow to write all the data from direct Huffy. So I stick to 352x288.
