I've got a dvd iso which I can't play with mplayer. I suspect it has Arccos or Ripguard. (Any way to tell?) I copied the iso to a friend's microsoft comp and mounted it with daemontools but dvdfab decrypter errors out half way through trying to read/import it. I know the iso is fine since it plays with win32 vlc. I just want to copy a non-drm corrupted iso to my linux box and use mencoder from there. Any advice on how to do this?

Have you tried copying the original in file mode?

What file mode? It asks for either a dvd in the drive or the dvd folder. I pointed it to the video_ts folder after mounting the iso and it crashes.

Play the original DVD. If you don't have it, refresh yourself with the forum rules (http://forum.doom9.org/forum-rules.htm).
