winavi crashing

i have a few movies iwant to convert, i converted the first one fine but the ones that are xvid or anything else the program crashes right away as soon as i select it to convert,

any suggestions? im going crazy here!

What type of movies, convert to what, what program, anything else than what, etc...? see where I´m getting at?

ok the movie file says its an xvid and i ahve the latest xvid codecs installed.. im trying to convert from xvid to dvd format so i can burn it onto a dvd and watch it on tv.. it crashes as soon as it starts to convert.

also the movie (s) play fine on the cpu so i know its not the file..

You need to brush up on the Forum Rules and the Announcement at the top of the Newbies page. If you had the original disc, you'd have no need to convert it to DVD.
