is there any progress on this? i would like to embed h264 in websites, but I have not seen a viable solution until I saw this. Anyone know if work is still going on? Or a better web player?

Yes.... CorePlayerX and CorePlayerE will come out soon after the Official CorePlayer launch on October 16th 2006.
