strange problem encoding to xvid, last frame

most of the times when i encode a xvid video, the last frame is displayed for some minutes, while the actual video has already ended, say the original video is 5 min, and after these 5 mins the last frame is being displayed for 2-3 minutes or so.
I encode to xvid using 2pass encoding, with manually set filesize

Try loading the video into VirtualDub. Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy". Save with a new filename...

What software and procedures are you using to encode?...

i am encoding a .ts from my satreceiver:
i dl irt from my satreceiver, split it with dgindix
encode the resluting mpa audio file to mp3
open the d2v with avisynth(resize, degrain and limited sharpen faster), and use 2 pass xind encoding to get my xvid file.

I also use "load processing settings" in VD to load my logo filter
