windows media player in vb

hi.

First of all sorry for my bad english.

I try to develop an application that play 5 dvd at the same time. I use vb6 an a wmp activex. If I play 5 divx I can see all of them but if I play 5 dvd I only see one of them.

Can I do it with wmp activex or I need other control?

I try to vlc plugin but it crash everytime.

PD: I can´t rip dvd on divx because time is too much and i need rip dvd in 30 minutes more or less. Then I rip dvd into hard disk with dvd shrink.

Overlay problem maybe? or DVD decoder problem.

Well I try to develop an aplication for sex shops. On a monitor you can see one dvd on full screen. In other monitor you can see 4 dvd . If you like a dvd on the monitor with 4 dvd you can press one key and this dvd change with the full screen.

Seems like an overlay problem. Media Player usually uses overlay for DVD's. Try if you can set MP to use VMR. Also depending on what decoder you are using, it might be possible to select the renderer mode from decoder's settings.

What's VMR? I tried to uncheck use overlay in options of MP. But It didn't work. I try 2 activeX, X360 video player and viscom Movie player. X360 play dvd with jumps and with viscom I can obtain position of film in seconds, and I can't mute sound.

I prefer use wmp but I don't know if it's posible not use overlay.

Is there a registered MPEG2 decoder on the system? Try installing a DVD player software (for testing) and then find a "free" mpeg2 decoder. I think there's a package for download on doom9.org
