Hi guys, hope i am right here...
Anyways i got 2 problems, the first being with Adobe Encore. 80% of the time when i rip a DVD using DVDDecrypter i can NOT import the *.vob into Adobe Encore because it says the file is either damaged. Even if i create .IFO files for the .Vob files using IfoEdit it still wont accept the files.
When i use XtoDVD for my home movies, or other .avi files, and i build *.Vob files using that program i can always import the files to Adobe Encore.
This is my main issue so it would be great if anyone had an explanation for this or even a solution?
Secondly, does anyone have a good *.Vob to *.Avi conversion program, i have tried AutoGK, and it's a very good program, but it keeps on getting the sound out of sync. And also looses quit some color even when just compressing to 800MB file (42min)
- Tried fixing the sound problem, also seached for it but cant find any working solution. When I try to import the .avi into VirtualDub1.6.14 then it tells me: “AVI: Variable biterate audio detected. VBR audio in AVI is non-standard and you may encounter sync errors up to 13085ms when attempting to extract WAV files or processing the audio in Direct Stream Copy Mode. Full Processing mode is recommended to decompress or recompress the audio (biterate: 110.6 +-13.5 kbps)”
Tried correcting the audio by 13085ms but its still wrong, and trial and error seems end less, especially if you have to do it for 20+ files.
Need more precise info on anything, ask ill try to be as specific as possible.
Using Adobe Encore 1.5
Last version of DVD Decrypter – Using IFO mode
Thx
